George Kauffman, Feature Artist poses for the camera.

B&K Railroad is proud to work with guest feature artist George Kauffman. B&K Railroad was put together by Astro Records management, consisting of artists from around the globe.

George Kauffman was born in the Soviet Union during the rule of the iron curtain.  At the age of 4, he was sent to train with renowned violin master Mr. Moses Auzdocthland.  At the age of 14 George grew away from his classical roots and started his own rock band, Metro.

In the late 1980's, George moved to Israel to further his musical training, and entered the Academy of Music in Jerusalem.  After several years in war-stricken Israel, Kauffman moved to New York and played in and around Manhattan for a number of years before moving to Canada and teaming up with Harvey Borley.

The years of work between George and Harvey have produced great songs like My Friend, and Motherland

George's rock and classical background has also been combined, and resulted in a 2-hour studio session that became the title track, Best of Times.  This track includes the European-influenced synthesizer sound, being met by the classic sound of George's genuine violin, creating a very highly energized sound unique to almost everyone who has heard this track.

Best of Times was recorded during the summer of 2003, and produced by Borley.

Tracks such as 911 My Lord, and Ground Zero, recieved an excellent review from President George W. Bush, resulting in a personal letter from the White House, to Astro Records president, Harvey G. Borley.

George Kauffman is currently touring Eastern Europe. Check back soon for pictures from the concerts.
